Specificities: Operation for companies and self-employed professionals:
The electronic money order for companies consists of financial transfer from one sender to several addressees simultaneously in any place within Brazil.

In order to use the service, it is required to formalize a specific contract for details and formalization of this service rendering.

Operation begins when the contracting party deliver to Correios the electronic file with addressees data (Name, TIN/CNPJ, passport and country of origin, for foreigners residing in Brazil, remittance purpose, value paid and complete address), by means of an application provided by Correios and  installed in the company environment.

The contracting party, then, deposits the values to be transferred in Correios account and, after having evidenced this deposit, payments will be made available for delivery to addressees in counters of over 6,200 Correios post offices nationwide.

At the moment of the contract, the company can define in which post office the payment will be made.

There is no limit to amounts of remittance per sending.

Receipt by third parties: In case the addressee cannot go to a Correios post office to receive the payment, he/she can authorize a legal representative by using the payment transfer form. Download form here. Complete, print, sign and notarize signature.

As an alternative, it is also possible to use a proxy with notarized signature.

Communication of money availability and money order payment: By using electronic means to pay the addressee, Correios seek to provide more safety, quickness and certainty of availability in any accredited post office. That way, the advice of arrival, previously used for all remmittances, has lost its importance, and is no longer mandatory, but optional. Nevertheless, in case the addressee wants it, Correios send notification to addressee, by means of telegram, using the Electronic Money Order notice service.

The client can also opt for Money Order payment notice at the moment of postage, in case he/she wants to be notified that the money was paid to addressee.
