We are announcing that SEDEX Hoje interstate deliveries in the State of Goiás have been suspended for an indefinite period of time in the sections listed below:
- From Goiânia to Brasília
- From Brasília to Goiânia;
- From Brasília to Anápolis;
- From Aparecida de Goiânia to Brasília;
- From Brasília to Aparecida de Goiânia.
Food Imports from Japan
Since the occurrence of the natural disaster on 03.11.11, the nuclear accident in Japan, ANVISA determined bans/restrictions on food imports to Brazil. See all relevant information at RDC Resolution No. 15 of 04.08.2011.

Scope:
National.
Who may use:
Legal entities, professionals and political parties.
Additional services:
- Register;
- Modicum Register (only for books and didactic materials);
- Advice of Receipt (AR) - delivery confirmation;
- Exclusive Assressee (MP) - delivery in the hands of the recipient;
- Declared Value (DV); - It is mandatory to submit the invoice in case of Declared Value for sender entity.
- Boxes of Order commercialized by the CORREIOS;
- Letter, Postcard and Business Reply Envelope (specific contract must be signed);
- Guaranteed Devolution: It is included in the contract for printing without additional cost to the contractor.
It may be accepted as Printed Matter:
- Catalogs;
- Books;
- Booklets;
- Guides;
- List of prices;
- Magazines;
- Newspapers;
- Periodicals;
- Cultural alternatives;
- Forms not completed;
- Prospects of propaganda;
- Propaganda of political party or candidate;
- Dissemination of Events.
Other forms of media will be also considered such as audio and video tapes, audio CDs and multimedia, key rings, caps and shirts, product samples, except free samples / gifts of medicines.
Place of delivery:
At the residence, even when it is Special Printed Matter with special Declared Value.
Packaging:
All Printed matter should be packed and closed by the sender, in packaging that resists the weight, shape and nature of the content as well as the transport conditions.
The clients can use the boxes commercialized by the CORREIOS or their own boxes, packages and rolls, since they are wrapped in plain paper and sturdy and are made in one of the following materials: paper, plastic, Styrofoam, wood or metal.
When the Printed Matter is posted closed, the packaging must convey the information: "Closing authorized. It can be opened by ECT. "
- Allows inclusion of other types of media such as CDs and audio tapes;
- Prices are lower than those for the Regular Printed matter in the retail network;
- The minimum financial quota is established, by postage, indicated in the tariff of the service table, however, it is not expected the minimum rate invoiced monthly;
- Possibility of linking the contract to more than one postal Unit;
- It discards the use of adhesive stamps and franking machine prints, using the seal of franking under the name of the service, nr. of contract, date of signature, states of origin of the contract and posting and CORREIOS logo;
- It allows inclusion of free gifts and product samples;
- It allows inclusion of Letter, Cards and Commercial Order Envelope.

Envelope:
- Minimum: 9 cm x 14 cm.
- Maximum: length smaller or equal to 60 cm.
Package and box:
- Minimum: 9 cm x 14 cm.
- Maximum: 150 cm (length + height + width).
The largest dimension (length or height or thickness = maximum: 60 cm)
Roll:
- Minimum: 10 cm (length).
Length plus twice the diameter = minimum 17 cm.
- Maximum: 90 cm (length).
Length plus twice the diameter = maximum 104 cm
Guidelines
Customers who opt for the return of objects not delivered, just indicate the symbol of "Guaranteed Return" on objects, right after or below the seal of franking of the Printed matter.
It is prohibited to include on the printed matter other objects from different senders.
The service is purchased under contract with monthly invoicing;
Contracts may be made at the Commercial Managements of each state.
Post:
Posts must be conducted at the postal Units linked to a CORREIOS contract.
Prices:
The unitary prices for the Printed matter service are in the Price Table, established by the ECT, according to weight and location of delivery, observing the minimum per post.
Storage fee
A Fee will be charged to the recipient in the case of Special Printed matter weighing over 1000 g.
- A storage fee will be charged from the first day after the exemption period (7 consecutive days), including the day of withdrawal;
- The period of exemption shall be counted from and including the following day of making available to the recipient;
- If the period of exemption prescribes in days of non-functioning of the unit it shall be extended to the next business day.
Deadlines:
Deadlines for delivery:
The deadlines for delivery of not Urgent objects (AO) and Urgent (Special Printed matter) must be observed, contained in the Matrix Time Distribution, except in cases of:
- Reasons of force majeure (flood, fire etc.).
- Retention of the postal object for the purpose of supervision;
- Retention of the postal object by Police authorities;
- Incomplete or incorrect Addressing of the recipient;
- Difficulty to access the town (irregular transport or low frequency);
- Difficulty to access the address.
Custody Deadlines
The period of custody of the Printed Matter (only for objects whose weight exceeds 1 pound) shall be counted from and including the day of making available to the recipient (the destination) or the sender (in return), according to the following order of priority:
a) Delivery of the Advice of Arrival;
b) Registry on the Book or Internal Delivery List of the postal Unit;
c) The dater stamp on the back of the Printed Matter, when this is not filed.
At destination
Within 20 calendar days:
- Weighing more than 500 g.
- Weighing up to 500 g when it goes to the Mailbox.
Within 30 calendar days, when intended for:
- General Delivery Ordered;
- Location without a postal Unit;
- Postal Unit which does not perform internal service delivery;
- Location not served by household distribution.
On return to sender:
Within 20 consecutive days if returned to:
- Sender;
- Sender Mailbox;
Within 30 days if addressed to:
- General Delivery Ordered;
- Location without a postal Unit;
- Postal Unit does not perform internal service delivery;
- Location not assisted by household distribution.
For delay in delivering registered items, the reimbursement will correspond to the value of the standard postage of the object, except the cost of the registry and of additional services that might have been purchased.
